The Midi Skirt !
Skirts can be a tricky item to wear: Don't have the legs to wear a mini?
Can't stand the thought of a maxi?
Luckily this season, a new silhouette is making its mark.
The midi skirt may seem more 1950's than 2013,
but it's taking the runway and the street by storm.
Spotted at the Prada, Céline, and Rochas F/W 2013 shows, the midi skirt is best worn with a pair of heels and (our favorite), a cropped angora sweater.
But whichever way you prefer to style your skirt, make sure it's a midi this season.

However, midi skirt looks your legs shorter by any possibility!
So, i get you 5 tip about how to wear midi skirt!
1. Pair with Form-Fitting, Skin-Baring Top
Since the midi skirt tends to be rather conservative and covers up so much leg, it’s best to pair with a form-fitting crop top! You can even pair a high-waisted midi with the crop top for the perfect silhouette and shape.
2. Volume on Bottom needs a Close Fit on Top!
Not ok with just a crop-top? Find the perfect cropped jacket to pair with your full skirt. This keeps it streamlined above the waist.
3. Edgy Accessories
Edge up the conservative feel of a midi skirt with some metallic and studs! It will bring a modern twist to your midi look!
4. HEELS!
The midi skirt requires very specific footwear. You absolutely must wear heels! There is no exception except if you’re one of those leggy models we spoke of earlier. Second, your heels should expose the top of the foot to lengthen the appearance of your leg; a very thin stripy sandal or classic pump is the best.
5. Not into crop tops? Form Fitting Top with a cinch-waist belt.
If you don’t feel comfortable showing a little bit of your tummy, opt for a for fitting blouse and finish it up with a waist-cinching belt. This gives the same silhouette without the crop top.
