pretty in LACE

pretty in LACE

Lace is in!
When I think of lace I think of lingerie but I’m not telling you ladies to wear THAT out in public. Lace is hitting the runways this fall in many styles but my favorite is the white cotton or sheen blazer with black lace on it.
This blazer goes great with a pair of dark jeans, a black skirt, or your favorite black dress pants.

Back in the day, lace was only found on lingerie. It was a sexy piece of material reserved only for the bedroom. A few years back, however, it made a big comeback in the form of wedding gowns. Lace has a way of making brides look elegant as well as beautiful.
Just take a look at Kate Middleton’s wedding gown. As a Dutchess in England and wife to the future king, Kate’s wedding gown was the epitome of fashion. And, if lace wasn’t in high demand before the royal wedding, it definitely was afterwards.
Now, lace material can be found everywhere.
It’s in headbands, shirts, pants, dresses, and even pockets.

So, what are you waiting for? Check out your lace items!

Graphic print is in fashion!

Graphic print is in fashion!

We all know how clothes in solid, plain colors should be a staple to our closets.
However, if you always go for plain clothes, your look will start to get boring and repetitive.
To avoid this and to keep your look updated and interesting every time,
you should consider wearing graphic print.
Now, a lot of women tend to shy away from clothes with graphic prints on them
because they aren’t sure how they could pull it off.
If you’re one of these women who are looking for cool ways to wear graphic print,
you’re in luck!

Graphic prints were huge on the fall/winter 2013 runways in New York, Paris, Milan and London. Although many of the graphic prints favored by designers were shown in black/white,
there was also an array of colored prints on the runways which are spicing up the streets this autumn season.

Graphic print are being shown on everything imaginable including dresses, tops, pants, skirts and even jackets.

Personally I love this trend on dresses and skirts. I am definitely on the hunt for the perfect graphic print dress! What do you think of this trend? How do you plan to wear it? Are you already rockin’ it?

I found a few fabulous graphic print pieces around the web and assembled them into the shopping widget below. Hope you love them! Happy shopping, and stay fabulous

Camouflage trend return!

Camouflage trend return!

Everything changes, little remains the same. T
he fashion world works round the clock, never settling for such things as monotony,
yet somehow it chooses to base its evolution upon the concepts of continuity and cohesion.
It takes as little as a sparkle of inspiration born on the runway
for the story to unfold across many seasons.
The it print as envisioned in endless guises, camouflage print is currently having its own story unraveling, still standing tall amongst fall 2013 fashion trend.
But wearing this fall trend is not the easiest, especially for the camo-shy.
Below are some helpful tips on how to wear the camouflage trend.

Start small.

If you are unsure of this trend, or any for that matter, find a small way to incorporate it into your wardrobe. This might be through a scarf, or inexpensive muted vest. Go for subtle and understated as you get started.
Keep colors to a minimum.

Yes, this is a pattern, but is usually a pattern that already contains a number of colors, usually in the green and brown categories. This automatically limits the colors and items it can be paired with. Go black, brown, gray, white or even a burgundy.
Go for understated.

Since camouflage is already a pretty bold choice in clothing, try to keep the rest of the look basic.

I have nothing in Camouflage printed at my closet, so i guess i'll get that camo skinny pants from Zara
